People always ask what hospitals and doctors saved my life. Because I have no memory of the trauma that took my life, I unfortunately do not remember all the names or faces of all the doctors and nurses that cared for me. However, I will never forget their efforts in saving my life and the life of my daughter, Gabriella. I am forever grateful for their service to my daughter and me and for the great comfort they were to my family. Below are a few hospitals and doctors who I highly recommend in Arizona.

Mercy Gilbert Hospital is where I died and was revived. The doctors and nurses worked tirelessly and heroically to save my life. I will be forever grateful to them and encourage anyone who has the opportunity to seek services from them. 

Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona is where I was transferred while I was in critical condition. Their integrative approach was a blessing. I knew I was in good hands as I entered my recovery.

Dr. Orazio Amabile, MD, is my brother and a cardio-thoracic surgeon with Phoenix Cardiac Surgery. He was instrumental in saving my life. He is my hero and goes above and beyond to save the lives of his patients!

Dr. Clint Leonard, MD was my OB/GYN. He is a wonderful, faith-filled doctor. While he was not there during the initial cardiac arrest, he rushed to the hospital to assist in my second surgery. He works at Morning Star OB/GYN in Gilbert, AZ.

Dr. Nancy McCauley, MD was the OB/GYN that arrived on call at Mercy Gilbert when I went into cardiac arrest and died. She and another doctor delivered my child while I was dead. She shared with the doctors that she thought I was having an amniotic fluid embolism. This clarity of thought and expertise on her part was instrumental in my continued survival. She works at Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology in Scottsdale, AZ.

Dr. Anantharam V. Kalya, MD, is a cardiologist that began seeing me while I was at Mayo Clinic. His continued care of me has always been thorough. He is a caring and kind doctor that has always had my best interest in mind. He now works at St. Joseph's Hospital: Center for Thoracic Disease and Transplantation.
